Our story
From a two-press workshop to a 50+-person precision manufacturing partner.
Space Auto Parts was started in 2002 in the name of R.P. Santhosh Auto Components by our Managing Director Mr. Ravi Raju, who brings 23+ years of technical experience across various forms of the automotive industry.
What began with 2 fly presses and 2 operators has grown into a 1T – 100T press shop with 400+ components developed, serving OEMs across India's automotive, instrumentation, and electrical sectors.
Our in-house tool room, VDA 6.3 process audit status, and long-term development partnerships with companies like WIKA Instruments and Maruti Suzuki set us apart from typical job shops.
2002
Founded as R.P. Santhosh Auto Components with 2 fly presses and 2 operators manufacturing washers and terminals.
2009
Plant expansion — began supplying SBAP, EAPL, GE with mass-volume wiper motor cover plates, brush plate assemblies, and regulator moulding inserts.
2015
Entered WIKA Instruments (German instrumentation maker) — developed 50+ precision components including dial housings, spacer cups, and mounting brackets.
2023
Maruti Suzuki Tier-III supplier audit passed. Volumetric production of YMP & YG8 inserts running successfully.
Facility
Inside our operations
Press Shop & Deburring
Equipped with power presses from 1T to 100T, automatic sheet feeders for high volume runs, 5mm shearing machinery, and tumbling/belt grinders for deburring processes.
Component Stamping & Assemblies
Stamping 0.2mm to 5.0mm sheet profiles in ETP copper, brass, phosphor bronze, stainless steel, and hylam laminated sheets under tolerances of ±0.05mm.
Mitutoyo Metrology Lab
In-house quality auditing featuring 300mm/600mm Mitutoyo digital height gauges, position gauges, micrometers, and DFT testers to comply with VDA 6.3 standards.
